Miami Amigos
A.M.I.G.O.S., or sometimes AMIGOS, but calling itself Miami Amigos on the disks themselves - was a monthly disk series produced by what was almost certainly a Miami, Florida Amiga user group. The date codes on the disks (1/90, 3/90, 4/90, etc.) place active production firmly in 1990
Not much information is available about this series. My best guess is that this is another local Amiga user group that made their own disk compilations for the monthly meetings. If you know any more, please let me know!
The disks were a general-interest monthly mix, covering graphics, games, music, and utilities in the manner typical of US user group releases of the period. Issue 1/90 included Mandelbrot graphics tools, a space game, some audio samples, and a text pager. Later issues brought in comms software (NComm 2.8), virus checkers (ZeroVirusII), a Star Trek shoot-em-up, and a collection of custom mouse pointer sprites. The content is solidly in line with what an active, technically curious user group would share monthly with its members.
