We'll keep this brief, because there's genuinely not much to say.

What we collect

When you visit the archive, our web server automatically logs standard HTTP request information — things like your IP address, browser type, the page you requested, and the time of the request. This is normal behaviour for any web server and not something we actively do to you; it just happens.

That's it. That is the entire list.

What we don't collect

What we do with the logs

We look at the logs in aggregate — things like "how many people visited this page this month" or "which disk images are most popular." We are not building profiles of individual visitors. The logs are routinely discarded after a reasonable period.

Who we share data with

Nobody. The logs stay on our server.

Contact

If you have questions or concerns, get in touch via curators@amigafreeware.downer.tech. We're a small historical archive project, so expect a human response rather than a support ticket system.

That's the whole policy. We think privacy should be the default, not something you have to opt out of.
