A demo group that compiled the LSD Compendium CD-ROM series, gathering demos, modules, graphics, animations, and utilities from across the Amiga scene. The three-volume series spans thousands of files contributed by groups and individuals worldwide.

LSD was an English Amiga group with a long reach and a crowded output. They're probably best known in the wider scene for Grapevine, one of the Amiga's most widely-read disk magazines, and for the Legal Tools floppy series — 149 disks of curated PD and freeware utilities compiled mostly by a member called Pazza. The LSD Compendium Deluxe CDs, produced in partnership with 17 Bit Software, gathered all of that and much more onto CD-ROM.

The group's name has attracted some creative backronyms over the years — "Leeds Spreading Division" and "Light Speed Distribution" both get bandied about — but core members are consistent that LSD was just LSD, not an abbreviation for anything. By mid-1991, when Grapevine issue 1 appeared, the group already had a sizeable roster: coders, musicians, graphicians, and BBS operators, spread across several handles including Monty Python, Mub, Watchman, and Orcrist among others. They were, by any measure, a well-connected outfit.
